Privacy Policy – Lead Scorer Chrome Extension
Last updated: February 2026
What data we collect
The Lead Scorer Chrome extension may collect and send to your Lead Scorer account the following data when you choose to sync:
- LinkedIn connections – names, profile identifiers, headlines, connection dates.
- LinkedIn messages (if enabled) – message content and conversation metadata from your LinkedIn inbox.
- Profile views (if enabled) – who viewed your LinkedIn profile and when.
How data flows
Data flows from your browser (while you are on LinkedIn) → the extension (running locally) → the Lead Scorer backend you configure (your App URL and API key in extension Settings). The extension does not send data to any server other than the Lead Scorer app URL you provide.
Where data is stored
Synced data is stored on the Lead Scorer backend associated with your account. The extension may cache data locally in Chrome storage only to support sync; it does not persist cookies or secrets beyond what Chrome uses for normal browsing.
Retention
Retention of synced data is governed by your Lead Scorer account and product terms. The extension itself does not define retention; your configured backend does.
Third-party sharing
The extension does not share your data with third parties. Data is sent only to the Lead Scorer app URL you configure, using your API key. How that app and backend handle data is described in the main Lead Scorer product privacy policy and terms.
Permissions
The extension requests storage, cookies, alarms, notifications, and webRequest, and access to LinkedIn and your configured app URL. These are used to capture your LinkedIn session (so we can fetch data on your behalf), run sync on a schedule if you choose, and communicate with your Lead Scorer backend. We do not log or store your LinkedIn password or session tokens outside Chrome’s normal cookie storage.
For product and account terms, see your Lead Scorer dashboard or contact your administrator.
