Never heard of MCP?

Model Context Protocol is an open standard for letting an AI assistant call someone else's software. A server publishes a list of tools; your assistant reads that list and decides which ones to call while it talks to you. Adding the Lead Scorer server to Claude or ChatGPT is roughly like giving it a login to your CRM — except you decide, per action, what it is allowed to finish.

  1. Open Customize → Connectors in Claude and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the remote MCP URL and add the connector without custom credentials.
  3. Select Connect, then sign in to Lead Scorer and approve access.

No account yet? Continue anyway: the OAuth browser flow includes account creation and brings you back to your agent after consent. The CRM and MCP access are free, no credit card.

Future tool updates use this same endpoint. There is nothing to reinstall; open a new conversation or refresh the connector only if your current conversation still shows an older cached tool list.

Campaigns & outreach

List the campaigns owned by your account, configure the sender identity and inherited account signature, inspect results, or create a new campaign, attach a sender account, add leads, read the authoring context, write the drafts, and repair the weak ones action by action. Inspect inbound replies, record their intent, and explicitly resume a paused prospect when the human requests it, preserving approvals and the remaining delay. What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call an external service's functions. Connecting the Lead Scorer MCP server gives your assistant a set of outreach tools it can use during a normal conversation — no plugin to build, no API to wrap.
Do I need an API key?
Not for Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Codex — they use OAuth 2.1, so you sign in with your Lead Scorer account and approve access. Cursor is the exception: generate an MCP API key in Settings and paste it into its config.
Can the agent send emails on its own?
No. The agent writes and queues; every message waits in your approval queue. You approve or edit, you set the daily cap and the sending window, and you press launch in the app.
Can I create my Lead Scorer account from Codex or Claude?
Yes. Install the Lead Scorer Outreach plugin or connect the MCP, then authenticate in the browser. The same OAuth flow lets a new user sign up, verify their email and approve the MCP. Back in the agent, it can read onboarding status, offer Pro or a credit top-up, and start email or LinkedIn connection flows.
Which plans include MCP access?
All of them, including the free CRM. AI-powered tool calls consume the same credits and AI budget they would inside the app.
How do I receive new tools when Lead Scorer updates the MCP server?
Nothing needs to be reinstalled and the server URL stays the same. Your MCP client reads the current tool list when it opens or reconnects to Lead Scorer. If an already-open conversation still shows an older list, start a new conversation or refresh/reconnect the Lead Scorer connector. Sign in again only if the client reports that authorization has expired or been revoked.
How many tools does the server expose?
